Following coffee at the Melbourne(sic) Coffee Bar(3/10)-they couldn't even do a magic!
we visit the central food market to peruse the various food delights that Hungary has to offer.
Breakfast consists of goulash in a roll with various bits and pieces.
At 4pm we meet our guide,Greta, for our Budapest Jew Tour. Unfortunately we are interrupted by a flash flood and have to spend some time BS (between synagogues) in a bar. Eventually we arrive sodden at our dinner at Rachel's house.
It turns out that Rachel is the Jamie Oliver of Budapest and is also famous for her cake decorating skills and her very famous flodni a sort of sweet lasagne cake.
She also is the daughter of a very famous Budapest rabbi.
The meal and wine are scrumptious and the company is delightful.
